Whose a naughty boy then? - 01/06/2009

Having your wallet or passport stolen is guaranteed to ruin your holiday.  So spare a thought for the tourist in New Zealand who had his passport stolen by a bird!

The theft took place in New Zealand's Fiordland National Park, when a Kea decided to fly off with the passport. According to reports, the passport was in a bag in the luggage hold of a bus.  It's not clear how the bird got the passport or what the bird is now doing with it.  Perhaps Heathrow Immigration officials should keep a look out for feathered passengers?!
